Why we recommend it
Most homes have a mix of screens: a Samsung in the living room, a Firestick in the bedroom, phones everywhere. Axon Player is one of the few players that covers all of them with the same layout, so nobody has to learn a second app. It is also the app our setup help is built around, which matters when you message us with a question.
How to install Axon Player
- Samsung and LG: open the TV’s app store, search “Axon Player”, install. Step by step: Samsung, LG.
- Firestick: install Downloader, allow unknown apps, enter code 7362822. Full steps in the Firestick guide.
- Android TV and phones: Google Play, or the APK link above.
- iPhone, iPad, Apple TV: the App Store.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Same app on nearly every TV, stick and phone
- Xtream Codes and M3U
- Live TV, movies, series, guide and catch-up in one place
- 14 free days to test before paying
Cons
- Paid after the 14-day trial
- Not available on Fire TV sticks with Vega OS (they block apps from outside the Amazon Appstore)
- Fewer power-user settings than TiviMate Premium
Who Axon Player suits
Families and anyone with more than one kind of device. If you only ever watch on an Android TV box and love tweaking a guide, TiviMate may suit you better.
