How to Set Up TiviMate: Playlist, EPG & Premium (2026)

How do I set up TiviMate?

Install TiviMate on an Android TV, Google TV or Fire OS device, open it and choose Add playlist. Select Xtream Codes and type the server, username and password we sent, or paste the M3U link. TiviMate loads the channels and guide; activate Premium later with the TiviMate Companion app if you want recording and more.

What you need

Android TV, Google TV or a Fire OS stick (not iPhone, not Samsung/LG)
Your Xtream Codes login or M3U link
Optional: an Android phone for TiviMate Companion (Premium)

Add your playlist

Install TiviMate from Google Play (or with Downloader on a Fire OS stick).
Open it and select Add playlist.
Choose Xtream Codes, enter the server address, username and password. Or choose Enter URL and paste the M3U link.
Select Next. TiviMate finds the channels and the guide.
Pick the channel groups you want to see, then Done.

Load the TV guide

With Xtream Codes the guide usually loads by itself. If it stays empty, open Settings › EPG, add the EPG source we sent and select Update EPG.

Activate TiviMate Premium

On an Android phone, install TiviMate Companion from Google Play.
Create an account and buy Premium in the Companion app.
On your TV, open TiviMate › Settings › Account and sign in with the same account.

Fixes for common problems

“Playlist error”: check the server address for typos and that it starts with http://
Guide shows the wrong time: Settings › EPG › EPG time shift.
Premium not showing: sign out and in again under Settings › Account.

Can I use TiviMate without Premium?

Yes. The free version plays one playlist with the guide. Premium adds recording, multiple playlists and more.

Does TiviMate work on Fire TV Stick 4K Select?

No. That stick runs Vega OS and cannot install TiviMate.
