Perfect Player Settings: IPTV Setup Guide (2026)

Where are the Perfect Player settings for IPTV?

Open Perfect Player, select the gear icon on the right to open Settings, then General. Under Playlist, paste your M3U URL; under EPG, paste the XMLTV guide URL. Go back, and the app loads your channels and guide. Everything else in Settings is optional.

• Perfect Player on Android, Android TV or a Fire OS stick
• Your M3U playlist URL and EPG (XMLTV) URL
• About 5 minutes

Add your playlist and guide

1. Open Perfect Player and select the gear icon (Settings).
2. Open General.
3. Select Playlist, choose a slot (Playlist 1) and paste your M3U URL.
4. Select EPG and paste the XMLTV URL.
5. Return to the main screen. Channels appear on the left; press OK on one to play.

The settings worth changing

When channels will not load

• Empty list: the M3U URL is incomplete. Copy it again from our message, in one piece.
• Guide shows “No information”: check the EPG URL and select Update EPG.
• Black screen with sound: switch the decoder between Hardware and Software.
• Buffering: raise the buffer, restart the router, and prefer a cable connection.
