M3U Playlist & Xtream Codes: How to Add Them (2026)

What is an M3U playlist?

An M3U playlist is a web link to a text file that lists every channel’s name, group and stream address. A player app reads it and builds your channel list. Xtream Codes is a login (server, username, password) that gives the app the same channels plus movies, series and the guide. Use Xtream Codes when the app supports it.

Questions

Are free M3U playlists safe?
